We celebrated Lily's 3rd year on the planet this past weekend and had a blast. Although I tried to incorporate as many kids as I could, it still looks like an adult party. Must be the size comparison because I remember more kids running around than adults! Anywho, Lily had so much fun and behaved so well. I really think she makes an effort to play and talk with everyone at her parties. She makes us proud every day but some days are just exceptional. She shared, she played, she laughed, she got cake up her nose....ahhh, good times.
Thanks to all that came out and here are a few photos to share but all can be found here: http://picasaweb.google.com/mwbowers/LilyS3rdBirthday#
First event was to get the crabs for our crab fest! Rolling Thunder was in town so we got to see lots of motorcycles en route which prompted Lily to shout U-S-A! No idea where she got that idea.
'You can put this picture, right on your Christmas card!'
The guys there were great to us and gave Mommy and Lily red, white and blue leis.
Crabs! RUN!!!!!
No annoying people yet.
We went to the pool everyday over the weekend. It was great since it was not crowded so we were happy we were not three of the 800,000 people who traveled out of town that weekend. Very pleased. The pool is great although we debate publishing a blog just on "overheard at the neighborhood pool" since some parents in our neighborhood can be crazy and just plain annoying. Oh well, we love the pool!
Girls just want to have fun!
Can you believe we did not get a picture of the actual crabs!?? Ehh, these crabs will do. Seriously though, Daddy said Lily looked like an 80's prom pose...hair to the side, etc. It cracked us up.
