That is right, the Bowers family is expecting another little one to add to our fun times. Stacey is just out of her first trimester officially today so we thought it would be a great day to get our new blog started. Not to worry, the new and improved www.BowersDC.com will still bring all the hilarity of our previous updates sprinkled with some new baby cries and sleepless nights. In the meantime, we will talk about how we are preparing for our new baby.
Housekeeping Note: If you are looking for anything on Lily's old blog, click on the "Home" link at the top of this page and there is a link to it, as well as some other links that we will be adding to.
When we told Lily she was really excited and every now and then she will talk to the baby in Mommy's tummy. A few days ago, she was talking to the baby and when I asked her what the baby said...."The baby said...DO NOT COME IN HERE!" Obviously, Mommy was psyched that the baby did not want a toddler in there to share the room. YIKES!
And a few other Lilyisms about the baby...
"I have a baby in MY tummy and I eat the baby. Nooo, it tastes yucky."
"Mommy the baby will be gone from your tummy and then it will be big and PLAY WITH MEEEEEEE!!!!"
"Baby says it wants to see my castle."
"I am going to have a boy baby and you going to have a girl baby."
Lily will have her world turn upside down when the baby comes but we are positive she will adjust. The parents may be slightly affected too and we know that they will need to adjust too but we are excited to meet the new baby. Of course, we have another 6 months to build the big sister ego up and prepare so we have some time.
Glad to share the news with all our friends and family!
